Stop Making One Person Carry All the Customer Context

Customer context should be available to the teams that need it, not carried from team to team by one person.

Many post-sales organisations rely on one person to carry customer context between systems and teams. One system has part of the story. Support knows another part. Product data knows something else. Email and meetings contain the rest.

That person is expected to assemble all of it mentally and reproduce the right context whenever the organisation needs it.

Context should be a system capability

A better post-sales model should make customer context easy to find and reuse. People remain responsible for judgment and relationships, but should not be responsible for manually synchronising the company.

That changes the role of AI. Instead of just drafting emails faster, AI can bring together the information people need to make decisions and help customers.
